Whether you just finished setting up your Aircore account or are still poking around and deciding whether to take it for a spin, we’d like to make sure you’re fully apprised of key info and resources that will help you maximize the Aircore experience both for your users and yourself.
Here’s a quick rundown that should give you a good lay of the land. If you have any questions, feel free to ping our Support team via email or Slack, or visit our docs page.
1. Your SDK options
Aircore provides a suite of SDKs that you can use to add high-quality, low-latency audio, video, or text chat to your product. These SDKs fall into two categories:
Integrating with Flex is ideal for developers looking to build their own, fully customized unique user experience. It gives you the flexibility to build pretty much any UI you can imagine without having to worry about things like device audio details, encoding technologies, or CPU optimizations. Go with Flex if your top priority is customizability.
If you’re just looking for something quick and simple and don’t need a ton of customization, Sync might be your preferred option. It’s a turnkey solution you can use to add pre-built UI components to your product in just a few minutes. While their main benefit is speed, the Sync SDKs do enable some level of customization. Go with Sync if you’re looking for rapid integration.
It’s important to note that these two categories of SDKs differ only in the use cases they serve – neither is inherently superior to the other, and they’re not separated by tier. Both offer sub-100 millisecond latency, as well as globally distributed servers ensuring more than 99.99% uptime – you may just prefer one over the other at any given time based on what you’re trying to achieve.

2. Try Aircore on your site code-free with our Chrome extension
When you’re trying out a new tool, it’s always good to get started with a clear, relatable visualization of that tool’s impact.
To that end, as you’re familiarizing yourself with our SDKs, we’d love to point you to our Chrome extension, which provides a no-code way to see what our SDKs look like on your actual site. This can be a good way to refine your use of our SDKs, get a clear sense of how they can impact your platform, and decide if they’re a good fit.
You can find the Chrome extension here, along with some quick setup instructions. Poke around, take a few screenshots, and share them with your team to get their reactions.
3. You don’t pay until your product gains traction
Once your account is set up and you’re able to start adding users, you should know that your first 1,000 MAUs are included in Aircore’s free tier. We’ve set it up this way so that you don’t pay anything unless, and until, you have substantial usage. It’s a good way to ensure that you’re actually getting real value for what you spend.
Once you get close to your 1,000-MAU ceiling, we’ll reach out and give you a heads up, just to make sure there are no surprises.
We also don’t charge for usage minutes, so there’s no need to fret over the possibility of users having unexpectedly long calls. They could stay up all night chatting on your platform if they want, and it won’t cost you anything beyond the per-MAU price.
Learn more on our Pricing page.
4. Getting the support you need
As mentioned above, your free tier includes access to support via email and our community Slack channel. Additional support benefits such as guaranteed response times and dedicated support engineers are available at higher tiers.
You can also find the answers you need on our docs page, which walks you through the authentication process and other key areas.
5. Supported platforms
Aircore’s audio, video, and text chat SDKs are supported on iOS, Android, or Web. We’ll be releasing support for desktop applications soon, so keep an eye out for an announcement about that.
We hope this info helps you get the most out of your Aircore experience, and puts you in a good position to see how our SDKs can advance your real-time social goals. Remember: You can always get in touch with us using the email and Slack support links above.
